The Division of Hospital Medicine will present Grand Rounds this Thursday at noon at University of Miami Hospital, Seminar Center. Noel Emmanuelli, R.D., LD/N, clinical dietitian for UM's Hospital Food and Nutrition Services Department, will present "Understanding Enteral/Parenteral Nutrition - 2009." By attending this lecture, participants will be able to adequately calculate nutritional needs, including calorie, protein and fluid requirements, distinguish between enteral and parenteral nutrition, and calculate and order enteral and parenteral nutrition. The lecture is designed for family practitioners, emergency physicians, surgeons, internists and hospitalists. This educational activity is approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
