Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Jackson Memorial Hospital's Network Cancer Committee will host its annual town hall meeting on Thursday, October 28, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Sylvester, conference room 1301. This year's topic is lymphoma. The meeting will include clinical updates and presentations on services for lymphoma patients and their families. W. Jarrard Goodwin, M.D., chief medical officer at Sylvester, will start the event with opening remarks at 9 a.m. followed by a presentation by Joseph Rosenblatt, M.D., interim director of Sylvester and professor of medicine, titled "Clinical Updates on Treating Lymphoma."
