2010 Miami-Dade County “Out of the Darkness” 5K Walk for Suicide Prevention
Suicide is a national health concern that takes a major toll on family, friends and the community. The Miller School, in collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, will host the 2010 Miami-Dade County "Out of the Darkness" 5K walk. Join Dean Pascal J. Goldschmidt, M.D., and Charles Nemeroff, M.D., Ph.D., Leonard M. Miller Professor and Chair of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, on the Coral Gables campus this Sunday at 10 a.m. and walk to help raise awareness of this serious issue and funds for suicide prevention research and education.
