Hospital Medicine Grand Rounds: “Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapy for Ischemic Heart Disease:
Pre-Clinical and Clinical Results - 2010"
The Division of Hospital Medicine will present Grand Rounds this Thursday at noon at University of Miami Hospital, Seminar Center. Joshua Hare, M.D., Louis Lemberg Professor of Medicine and director of the Interdisciplinary Stem Cell Institute, will present "Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapy for Ischemic Heart Disease: Pre-Clinical and Clinical Results - 2010." By attending this lecture, participants will be able to review the translational development of cell-based therapy for human heart disease, evaluate mechanisms of data of cell-based therapy from large-animal models, and examine the clinical trial design of cell-based therapeutics for human heart disease.
