Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center Presents “2009 Huntington’s Disease Symposium”
The Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center will present a free educational program, "2009 Huntington's Disease Symposium," today (Tuesday) from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Easter Seals of South Florida, 1475 NW 14 Avenue, Miami.
Speakers will include Carlos Singer, M.D., professor of neurology and director of the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center, presenting "Current Thinking and Ongoing Clinical Trials in HD;" Lisa Baumbach-Reardon, Ph.D., associate research professor of neurology, presenting on "Genetic Testing for HD;" Katherine Moser, manager of advocacy and patient support at Lundbeck, Inc., presenting "My Personal Experience/Living with HD;" and Larissa Nusser-Meany, CTACC, E-RYT, certified life coach and yoga instructor, presenting "Benefits of Exercise and Staying Active."
