Mary Bartlett Bunge Distinguished Women in Cell Biology Lecture and Mentoring Event
Marilyn G. Farquhar, Ph.D., distinguished professor of cellular and molecular medicine at the University of California in San Diego, will present the Mary Bartlett Bunge Distinguished Women in Cell Biology Lecture today (Tuesday) at noon in the Lois Pope LIFE Center, seventh-floor auditorium. Dr. Farquhar's lecture is titled "Linking G Protein Signaling, Cell Migration and Cancer Metastasis."
Dr. Farquhar will also host a mentoring event later today (Tuesday) titled "Sharing My Experiences as a Woman in Cell Biology: Opportunity vs. Chance" at 4 p.m. in the Rosenstiel Medical Science Building, room 6018.
