Attention cycling enthusiasts: Registration is now open for the Everglades Bicycle Club's 2010 Snowbird Century Ride. This Sunday at 7:30 a.m., the club will host 25-, 41-, 62- and 100-mile rides starting at Homestead Air Reserve Park, located at 26851 SW 127 Avenue, Homestead. The ride takes cyclists through beautiful rural south Miami-Dade County. Riders will enjoy great routes and well-supplied rest stops with lots of goodies, then back to the start for lunch and entertainment. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Morton Fund for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome at the Miller School.
