Free Parenting Seminar

The University of Miami's Families First Network, sponsored by The Children's Trust, will offer a free seminar in Spanish for parents of children up to age 5. Parents will discuss ways to encourage positive behaviors, manage temper tantrums and other problem behaviors, and use positive discipline strategies effectively. Parenting specialist Melina Meguerian, L.M.H.C., will lead the seminar.

The event will take place this Friday from noon to 1 p.m. in the Clinical Research Building, conference room 1270. Lunch will be served. For more information or to register, call 305-243-8425 or send an e-mail to FamiliesFirst@med.miami.edu.
