Department of Orthopaedics Presents German Travelling Fellows Program Lecture Series
This Thursday, the Department of Orthopaedics will present a lecture series as part of the German Travelling Fellows Program from 7 to 8 a.m. at the Mailman Center for Child Development, eighth-floor auditorium. Ingo Pfefferkorn, C.P.O., German Section of Orthotics and Prosthetics fellow, will present "Technical Treatment of Idiopathic Genu Valgum by a New Generation of Ortheses for Controlled Growth." Nadja Walochnik, M.D., orthopaedic surgeon, will present "Back Pain in Wheelchair Bound Patients After Spinal Cord Injury." Juergen Goetz, M.D., fellow at the laboratory for gait and movement analysis at the University of Regensburg, German Orthopaedic Society, will present "Influence of Retaining the PCL on Proprioceptive Abilities Following Knee Arthroplasty." Maximilien Jung, M.D., consultant at the Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Unit of the Swiss Orthopaedic Society, will present "Mirror Therapy in Post-Amputation Pain."
