Breast Cancer Mini-Conference: “Life After Diagnosis: Taking Control Through Knowledge”
Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at Deerfield Beach will host "Life After Diagnosis: Taking Control Through Knowledge," an educational breast cancer mini-conference, this Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sylvester at Deerfield Beach. Charles Vogel, M.D., voluntary professor of clinical medicine, Maria Restrepo, M.D., assistant professor of clinical medicine, and Katharine Campbell, Ph.D., L.C.S.W., will provide an overview of breast cancer and discuss lymphedema prevention, keeping well, cancer and career, and managing treatment effects.
