Susan L. Ackerman, Ph.D., professor and investigator at Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Chevy Chase, Maryland, will present the 2009-2010 Neuroscience Center Seminar this Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Lois Pope LIFE Center, seventh-floor auditorium. Dr. Ackerman's lecture is titled "Novel Mechanisms of Neurodegeneration Revealed by Forward Genetics."
