15th Annual Medical Issues and the Growing Child Conference: “Examining the Use of Assistive Technology to Support Individuals with Learning Disabilities"
Session C of the 15th Annual Medical Issues and the Growing Child Conference, "Examining the Use of Assistive Technology to Support Individuals with Learning Disabilities," will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Retter Auditorium at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
Christopher M. Lee, Ph.D., and Carolyn P. Phillips, M.S., two nationally recognized advocates and leaders in the field of learning disabilities and adaptive technology, will speak. They will discuss trends, research, funding, products and resources in assistive technology, education in the digital age, alternative media helpful in adaptive mainstream technology and resources, and creative, equal access/universal design for learning.
