Miller School of Medicine Welcomes the Class of 2013
The Class of 2013 was welcomed to the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Thursday by faculty members, staff and senior students who urged them to celebrate the achievements that have brought them this far and look ahead to the hard work necessary to become doctors four years from now.

The Miller School Hosts Biomedical Nanoscience Initiative
Nanoparticles that allow a transplanted organ to function without the need of immunosuppressant drugs. Nanomaterials that form scaffolds around stem cells, helping them to form new body parts. And nanotech therapy that delivers a killer blow to cancer just as effectively as chemotherapy.
Miller School’s MCAT Prep Program Prepares Young Students for Careers in Medicine

For a dedicated group of 20 students, a significant milestone on the long journey to become medical professionals was marked on July 31 with a luncheon at University of Miami Hospital's Seminar Center. The festive event, for students, faculty and staff, was a celebration of the completion of this summer's Medical College Admissions Test Preparation Program, offered through the Office of Minority Affairs at the Miller School in collaboration with the UM Area Health Education Center.
