AI & Writing: Faculty Working Group Wondering how to assign writing in the age of AI? Join faculty from around the university to discuss ideas, workshop assignments, and learn new techniques for navigating a post-ChatGPT world. Learn more. Six meetings will be held this semester on 2/5, 2/19, 3/5, 3/26, 4/9, and 4/23. All meetings will be held via Zoom from 5:00-6:30pm.

Ethical and Effective Writing with AI Curious about using AI in your writing but not sure where to start? Join the Writing Center in a hands-on workshop series to explore AI tools, discuss ethical considerations, and practice writing with AI. This workshop series is open to all faculty, staff, and students. The series will include five workshops on 2/12, 2/26, 3/19, 4/2, and 4/16. All workshops will be held in-person at the Richter Library Flex Space B from 4:00pm - 5:00pm.

The University of Miami Career Champions Network, with nearly 150 members, was created to better prepare faculty for their career conversations with students. If you must cancel a class during the semester, the Toppel Career Center team of career educators can substitute and lead a workshop on many customizable topics.
We've also created PowerPoint slides on varying career topics and information that can be incorporated into any lecture for students to view without taking away any time from the curriculum. You can access the three slides we've already created, and we're happy to work with you to develop additional customized options. |
