HR UPDATE: GABLES/MARINE CAMPUS HYBRID WORK PILOT PROGRAM

In our last message on the Hybrid Work Pilot, we advised you that the start of the Hybrid Work Pilot for the Gables/Marine campuses will resume on January 31, 2022. As a manager, please ensure that any staff members in your department are advised of their return to campus date and schedules. A separate message will be sent directly to employees who are scheduled to return on a hybrid basis, but we encourage you to reach out to them directly.

To safeguard the health of all members of our University and South Florida communities, all eligible staff must receive their COVID-19 booster vaccination or secure an approved exemption. The deadline for compliance was January 18, 2022, so staff who are eligible for the booster must submit documentation to Workday prior to their scheduled return to campus date or be subject to potential disciplinary action. Staff who are granted an exemption from the COVID-19 booster as permitted by Florida law, will be required to be tested for COVID on a weekly basis.

The provisions of the Remote Work policy will start on January 31, 2022, to align with the implementation of the Hybrid Work Pilot.
