New Security Protocol at Gables One Tower Starting June 1, 2019
As an additional measure to enhance security protocols at Gables One Tower (GOT), Facilities Operations and Planning, in partnership with the UM Police Department, will be implementing a new security protocol for accessing the building effective June 1, 2019.
- All exterior entrances to GOT will require Cane Card access 24/7, with the exception of the main lobby (entry facing US1), which will remain open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Entrances to the HR and Controller office suites off the main lobby of GOT will require Cane Card access to enter.
- In accordance with the University's security protocol, anyone working at and/or visiting GOT should have their Cane Card visible at all times.
If you have lost or misplaced your Cane Card, please feel free to visit Parking and Transportation at the McKnight building before June 1 to receive a replacement Cane Card at no cost to you.
