Dear fellow ‘Cane,

We are so proud of our Women’s Basketball team to be seeded at #4 for the NCAA Tournament! Just like we supported Coach Katie Meier and our student athletes for their big wins over FSU and Notre Dame, this amazing team needs our support at the Watsco Center this weekend during the first rounds of the tournament.

UM’s first game is on Friday at 9 p.m. against Florida Gulf Coast University. Category 5 and the Division of Student Affairs are hosting a pregame tailgate at 7:30 pm with free Moe’s for the first 500 students and free “Miami ‘Canes” t-shirts given to the first 750 students. A win this Friday means our women’s team will play again on Sunday for a spot in the Sweet Sixteen!
