The Ibis Mentors Program is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year!
The mission of the IBIS Mentorship Program is to provide support, safety, and guidance to our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer students as they discover who they are. The IBIS Mentorship Program aims to match students who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community with faculty and staff who are LGBTQIA+ and allies.
The IBIS Mentorship Program is the nurturing process that will foster the growth and development of the University of Miami's LGBTQIA+ and ally community.
Mentor applications are due by September 3rd, 2022

The University of Miami Department of Political Science is recruiting one Research Assistant to join the project for the 2022-2023 academic year.
The pay for this assistant would be $15/hour for 10 hours a week throughout the academic year.
The Research Assistant would help with interviews, work with the community partner, read and summarize related research, and help us draft future grants or publications.
We particularly encourage any trans or nonbinary undergraduates to contact us; no previous research experience is necessary.
