Do Your Research!

How to Research a Company Before a Job Interview

Walking into an interview, it's best to know ins and outs of the company you wish to join. Knowing their mission is essential, but staying up-to-date on their projects makes you stand out above the rest.

Make sure do to the following before your next interview:

  • Review the company's website, blog, social media accounts, and LinkedIn page.
  • Read press releases and media mentions. (Click the 'News' tab when you search them up.)
  • Search for interviews with executive members of the team. They'll talk about the vision and goals of the company.
  • Research the people interviewing you: Search their name on Google and read their LinkedIn profile.
  • Research the LinkedIn profiles of the people who work there, get an idea of company culture, backgrounds, education, and experience.
