FilmGate Miami, a non-profit based in Miami,FL that empowers filmmakers, storytellers, and creators working in the traditional and immersive space. We are looking for docents for our upcoming Interactive Festival from 11/28 to 12/6!
The School of Communication is pleased to announce the inaugural United Black Students and UTrailblazers Canes Black History Film Festival. We seek short (5 minutes or less) films based on contents in the UTrailblazers Experience, current events, and/or Black student experience(s) on a multicultural campus.
Films awarded first place will receive $1500 and second place will receive $500. In addition, the filmmaker awarded first place will have a chance to attend the ’Canes Los Angeles Film Showcase in May 2024.
Offering ten $10,000 reporting grants issued per year to journalists reporting in-depth print and audio stories on the science, policy, business and culture of this new era of psychedelics.
In addition to underwriting individual stories, the Fellowship aims to establish and nurture a new generation of journalists covering the frontlines of this rapidly changing field.
We’re looking for big, underreported, narratively compelling stories placed in rich political, economic, scientific, and cultural contexts. We are committed to supporting journalists from diverse backgrounds and of all nationalities.
