Dear VPRS team,
It's hard to believe that we are almost at the one-year mark of my tenure as the Vice Provost for Research & Scholarship, and we have spent all of that time working remotely. First, I want to say how proud I am of the dedication, creativity and resilience of this team.
We have accomplished so much in the hardest circumstances imaginable, and I am excited to see what we can do as we continue to build a culture of holistic and collaborative support to research and scholarship.
As the institutional leader for the COVID-19 response, I know intimately the challenges that we will face, and want to gauge your feelings about a potential return to in-person work.
The pandemic has taught us all that there are many arrangements and ways of working that still make for a productive workplace, and most importantly, for a happy and supported team. Your answers will help us as we try to envision what that new workplace might look like.
