Research Intelligence & Data Infrastructure, under the Office of the Vice Provost for Research & Scholarship, is excited to launch a new series of training modules for eProst, the University's Electronic Protocol Submission and Tracking system for Internal Review Board (IRB) submissions.
These courses have been designed to give you the most up to date information on the current version of the eProst/IRB system. All existing users with active eProst accounts will be required to complete each course by October 31 in order to retain your access to the eProst/IRB system.
Due to the various user populations we have in our system today, your courses will be assigned to the Learning Management Platform you may already have access to:
- For University of Miami Employees, assigned training requirements will be completed in ULearn
- For Jackson Health System Employees and Residents, assigned training requirements will be completed in WeLearn
- For all other Non-UM/Non-Jackson personnel, assigned training requirements will be completed in Qualtrics

In the coming weeks, you will be assigned a set of courses to complete based on your current access in the eProst/IRB system. These curricula will be assigned based on whether you are an active PI or study team member, Admin/Regulatory staff, or Reviewer in the system, and are defined below.
Please note: If any of the assigned modules are not completed by end of day, October 31, 2021, your access to eProst/IRB will be disabled. You will need to complete all assigned courses in order for your eProst/IRB user account to be reactivated.
If you have any questions or concerns about these new courses, or no longer need access to eProst, please reach out to RIDI at 305-243-2314, or email us at resinfo@med.miami.edu.
