Research Administration at the U

This class provides a fundamental overview of research administration at the University of Miami  from proposal submission through award close and includes basic terminology, regulatory compliance, award negotiation, setup, reporting obligations, audits, and overall award management.

  • Type RAU in the search bar
  • Select “Research Administration at the U (RAU) Mandatory Curriculum”

Make certain you register for the CURRICULUM. It is indicated by a stack of books icon. Only by registering for the CURRICULUM can you track your progress and obtain credit for the courses.

This presentation includes a review and discussion of Warning Letters for Principal Investigators (Clinical Investigators), Sponsor-Investigators and Institutional Review Boards, issued by the FDA.  Recent examples of Warning Letters will be analyzed and causes, significance, and consequences of Warning Letters will be discussed.

Miles for Migraine Walk, Run, Relax - 2 Miles Walk - 5K

Miles for Migraine, a non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of people with migraine and other headache disorders, and their families, is pleased to announce their 2nd annual Miami walk/run/relax event on December 10th, 2022 at Tropical Park. Attendees will gather to raise awareness about migraine and headache disease and raise funds to support local headache migraine and headache research programs at the University of Miami. 

Migraine impacts 47 million people in the United States, and about half of that number are individuals who are undiagnosed. The disease affects one billion people around the world and is recognized as the second leading cause of disability globally.
