Fall 2025 TREES Faculty Success Community A Program for University of Miami Faculty Fall 2025 Semester
The Office of Faculty Affairs, in collaboration with University of Miami Libraries and Writing Center is kicking off a program designed to bring faculty together in a supportive, energizing space to foster connection, belonging, and professional growth. After connecting with peers and identifying individual goals, the first three sessions will focus on practical strategies for academic success, including:
- Strategic planning for your semester and beyond
- Time management techniques tailored to faculty life
- Sustainable writing routines
- An overview of university resources that can support your goals
Following these sessions, faculty will have the opportunity to launch peer network groups—small, collaborative circles that offer ongoing support and accountability for writing, creativity and scholarship. These groups are optional but encouraged. Faculty who are already part of existing network or writing groups are welcome. Consultation will be available to help address specific group needs and goals. The three sessions will take place on Fridays August 22nd, August 29th, and September 5th, 2025, from 12:30pm-2:30pm, with option to attend in person at Richter Library or by Zoom. Lunch will be served. Come for the strategies. Stay for the community. Questions? Please contact tperrino@miami.edu |
