We invite you to share your experience and opinions on the ’Canes Course Pack and its impact on your course. Your feedback will play a key role in enhancing this resource for both faculty and students. Thank you for your time and support!
At the start of each semester, Canes Course Pack will provide the required course materials to undergraduate students for their registered courses, including textbooks, access codes, and other course materials.
As faculty, you maintain academic freedom in selecting the required content, provider, and edition that best suits your course(s). By providing your chosen adoptions, you ensure that all students have the same materials, including edition and format, on the first day of class. This allows you to begin instruction on day one instead of waiting for students to acquire their materials. For information about adopting your course materials, visit Course Adoption with Follett Discover or contact your Course Materials Manager, Jesus Solis for assistance.
Students will be given the option to opt-out of the program each semester, and additional information on how to do so will be emailed to each student’s email account.

If you must cancel a class during the semester, the Toppel Career Center team of career educators can substitute and lead a workshop on many customizable topics.
We've also created PowerPoint slides on varying career topics and information that can be incorporated into any lecture for students to view without taking away any time from the curriculum. You can access the three slides we've already created, and we're happy to work with you to develop additional customized options. |

The University of Miami Libraries offers introductory mindfulness sessions to support inner resilience in challenging times. Online sessions are available Wednesdays from 4:00pm - 4:45pm. Registration is required.

The Toppel Career Center offers free professional photos with its self-service professional headshot photo booth! The process is quick and easy, and you can take as many photos as you’d like. The headshot photo booth is available to all UM students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Drop by any time Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm (no appointment needed). Toppel is located right off Stanford Drive next to Hillel and behind the Pavia Garage. |

'Canes Community Food Pantry
Any student, faculty, or staff member is welcome to stop by the food pantry during hours of operation to receive or donate items.
We are happy to accept donations and encourage donations that can easily be prepared in a microwave or easy consumption. Learn more. |
