Innovation in Action

ArtAbilities Awards Ceremony

The Mailman Center for Child Development hosted the ArtAbilities Award Ceremony on May 2, 2024, celebrating the artistic talents of children with disabilities in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.The evening featured an exhibition of the young artists’ professionally framed and matted artwork, musical entertainment, face painting, and food, culminating with an awards ceremony. Fifteen talented artists, ages 9-20, from nine Miami-Dade County Public Schools received a certificate, medal and accolades from family and friends.
