Retirement Announcement
In July of 1990, Dr. Robert Fifer joined the faculty of the Mailman Center for Child Development and the Department of Pediatrics as the Director of Audiology for the Mailman Center.
His contribution to the field of audiology and neurodevelopmental disabilities has been extensive and his advocacy work has impacted state and national policy for reimbursement for audiology and speech therapy services, expanded newborn screening, and influenced policy related to infections that affect children’s hearing.
We wish him a very happy and well deserved retirement after 34 years with the Mailman Center!
