The Florida Institute for Child Welfare at the Florida State University College of Social Work is currently planning its annual symposium (May 9th and 10th), the theme of which is Innovations in Workforce Resilience. They are offering an opportunity for Florida-based doctoral students to submit proposals for poster presentations to occur during the symposium. The Florida Institute for Child Welfare at the Florida State University College of Social Work is now accepting applications for their 2022-2023 Dissertation Fellowship Award. They are seeking doctoral candidates who are dedicated to research and scholarship that promotes and improves the safety, permanency, and well-being outcomes for children and families in Florida’s child welfare system to apply. The selected fellow will be awarded $5,000 throughout the award period. Preference will be given to dissertations that align with their annual research topic, Innovations in Workforce Resilience. Natera has partnered with the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC) to sponsor a fellowship award for using ctDNA to study IO response. This $40,000, one-year award aims to provide support to an individual working in ctDNA testing for molecular residual disease. Natera will offer the selected recipient the opportunity to utilize the proprietary Signatera testing technology. The submission period begins January 2022 and applications are due April 5, 2022.
