IDSC is offering a free, half-day IBM Academy Cognitive Cloud Workshop. The workshop will provide an overview of IBM's academic programs, an introduction to IBM Cloud services for Data & AI, and processing infrastructure. These services and infrastructure can be used to support a wide range of AI and cognitive-based research projects and curricula. The workshop will end with a project planning clinic where faculty can discuss proposed projects. The University of Miami’s Office of Civic and Community Engagement, Multicultural Student Affairs, and the Butler Center for Service and Leadership are proud to announce the 2022 - 2023 Racial Justice Grants cycle to support service, research, and/or programmatic activities that center on race, racial justice, and racial equity with a focus on Black communities on campus and/or in South Florida. This grant program aims to support the development of UM’s diverse faculty, students and staff while fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Applications are solicited to support community-based scholarship and activities that promote impactful and lasting change related to social justice among Black communities in the local South Florida community and/or the University.
