New master's program in Urban Sustainability and Resilience

A new Master of Professional Science in Urban Sustainability and Resilience will enroll its first students this fall. The Miami Institute for Advanced Study of the Americas (UMIA) and Latin American Studies Program (LASP) are pleased to offer the Barrett Prize for 2020, which is awarded to the doctoral student who has produced the best dissertation at the University of Miami in the past year on a topic related to any aspect of Latin America and the Caribbean. The Barrett Prize carries an award amount of $1,500. The deadline for submissions is Monday, July 20, 2020.
