Postdoc Opportunities at the National Cancer Institute

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is currently recruiting senior-level graduate students for our 5th Annual Graduate Student/Postdoc Recruiting Program (GSRP). The GSRP is a competitive program that provides students the opportunity to explore postdoctoral fellowships at the NCI. To be eligible for the GSRP, applicants must (1) be enrolled at a U.S. institution (GSRP is open to U.S. citizens and foreign nationals) at the time of submission and (2) Ph.D. requirements must be completed by December 2020.

Tinker and UMIA Summer Field Research Grants for Graduate Students

The Institute for the Advanced Study of the Americas (UMIA) is pleased to announce spring competitions for two summer field research grants for graduate students of all levels and disciplines. The first grant, awarded by the Tinker Foundation, will support early-career research experiences in Latin America and the Spanish Caribbean. For students working in countries elsewhere in the Caribbean, or with immigrant populations from Latin America or the Caribbean, UMIA is offering the complementary UMIA Field Research Grants. Apply by March 1, 2020.

Internship and Research on the European Union, Latin America and the United States

The University of Miami European Union “Jean Monnet” Chair is offering an innovative program combining an internship training and individualized research supervision in the European Union Center at the Coral Gables Campus. To receive internship credit candidates must register in INS 654. Students will be able to choose among a variety of topics for research, following some of the current issues facing the EU, the US and Latin America.  For more information contact jroy@miami.edu.
