Counseling and Health Services during the Summer

Students planning on receiving services for the Counseling Center or the Student Health Services during the summer must be enrolled for either the summer term or Fall 2019 term and pay the summer Health and Counseling Fee.  After May 17, 2019, any student not meeting eligibility requirements will no longer be able to continue with services or begin new services with either center. For eligibility details during the summer, visit the Counseling Center and the Student Health Services' webpages on service eligibility.

2019-2020 Florida House of Representatives Legislative Intern Program

The Florida House of Representatives is accepting applications for the 2019-2020 Legislative Intern Program. The Legislative Intern Program offers a unique opportunity for graduate students to gain first-hand knowledge of the legislative process and to participate in the work of the legislative branch of state government. Under the guidance of senior House staff, their assignments may include research projects, bill drafting and analysis, oversight activities, and other tasks relating to budget and policy areas. Requirements, directions, and forms to apply are on the House website, myfloridahouse.gov. The application deadline is May 31, 2019. 

Financial Literacy Education Month

The Office of Student Financial Assistance and Employment is hosting free financial wellness events from April 17-25, 2019 to celebrate National Financial Literacy Education Month. Attend sessions on useful topics such as navigating loan repayment, understanding interest rates, and managing bad credit.
