Dear Colleagues,

We announced last month that the University of Miami has partnered once again with the Florida Panthers to recognize our dedicated employees who support and promote our annual United Way campaign.

Florida Panthers logoTickets to the Florida Panthers vs. Detroit Red Wings game on Saturday, February 3, at the BB&T Center in Sunrise will be available for pickup by TeamUM United Way contributors beginning next week.

All faculty and staff who pledged a minimum of $25 to the TeamUM 2017 campaign by December 31, 2017, are eligible to receive two (2) tickets with food vouchers. Additional tickets can be purchased for $25 each. Faculty and staff who have contributed at the 1 percent level will get preferred seating.  

Employees can pick up tickets at any location but must bring their UM ’Cane Card for verification.

Ticket pickup location and date vary by campus:

  • Lennar Foundation Medical Center: Wednesday, January 17, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Lennar Conference Room 220   
  • Miller School Campus: Thursday, January 18, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Schoninger Research Quadrangle             
  • Coral Gables Campus: Monday, January 22, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Foote Green
  • Gables One Tower: Tuesday, January 23, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., GOT Suite 940 

Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
