Dear Colleagues,

At Tuesday's Town Hall, we received questions about AI training opportunities for faculty and staff. In fact, about 10% of the questions were about artificial intelligence, with many of you asking for ways to learn, build new skills and advance your knowledge.

We heard you. Because of the overwhelming demand, we accelerated our plans to make AI training available to all faculty and staff as an employee resource. Participation is voluntary, and the University is providing free subscriptions at no cost to you. It is open to everyone, and you can learn at your own pace.

The training goes beyond the technical. Knowing how to use these tools is important. Understanding the ethics, governance and limitations of AI is just as important.
