Coming Soon:

Multicompany Internal Service Deliveries (ISDs)

Effective Monday, March 14, Multicompany Internal Service Deliveries (ISDs) will be available in Workday. This new functionality will allow ISDs to be processed using multicompany driver worktags. This change will maintain the integrity of ISD reporting and eliminate the need to create manual journals to post transactions across Workday Companies.

What's New?

  • Internal Service Providers (ISPs) will no longer be restricted to using Company 200 when processing ISDs. ISP Managers and ISP Analysts will be able to use driver worktags in any Company to submit the business process
  • ISDs will post to the appropriate Workday Company, allowing all ISD transactions to be reflected more timely on reports across Companies and eliminating the need to create manual journal entries.

  • When using the ISD split functionality, the driver worktags used on the split line (see image 1) must belong to the same Company used on the ISD line (see image 2) to be processed correctly.

  • The approval workflow has been streamlined to be more efficient. Those with multiple approver roles in this business process will only be required to approve once, and revenue credit approvals will now occur automatically.

  • On Monday, March 14, the Workday: Internal Service Providers (ISPs) computer-based learning (CBL) training will be updated in ULearn to reflect this new functionality. You are encouraged to review the updated version of this training once available.
