Career Management using AG5 – IT's New Skills Management Platform
Dear IT Colleagues,
We're excited to announce that AG5—a skills management platform that allows IT employees and supervisors to identify skill gaps needed to drive professional development forward—is now available as one of IT @ the Academy's new career management initiatives.
As a reminder, IT's Powered by You engagement survey results included feedback regarding career opportunities at the University. This initiative supports career development, and it is part of the University's mission to transform lives and enhance employee experiences.
Important: Register for Training TODAY!
IT employees and supervisors now have access to the AG5 platform. Before using AG5, we ask that you sign up for a training session* (linked below, via ULearn) to understand how to navigate the system.
Employees
You will be able to quickly self-assess your skill(s) level, view assessments made by your supervisor, and identify areas for improvement by comparing your current competencies to desired ones.
Supervisors
You will be able to quickly view and update an employee's skill(s) level, and/or add new skills to their portfolio. With this information, supervisors can make more informed decisions when developing training plans.
AG5 provides an at-a-glance understanding of professional abilities. This tool will be useful when road-mapping your or your teams' professional development plan, so we strongly encourage you to attend the training session.
*Note: If you already joined an AG5 training session during the pilot phase, you do not need to sign up for another training.
