Lynda.com will be Upgraded to LinkedIn Learning on Friday, June 21, 2019

We are excited to announce that Microsoft will be upgrading Lynda.com, UM's learning and development platform, to LinkedIn Learning on Friday, June 21, 2019! As you may know, Microsoft acquired LinkedIn and Lynda.com, and has combined the best parts of both platforms into LinkedIn Learning to further the mission of helping professionals be better at what they do.

LinkedIn Learning offers a new, easy-to-use interface, and a range of new features and content while still providing the same Lynda.com content. Please keep in mind that your viewing history, course completions, playlists, and other data will all be migrated to the new platform.

About LinkedIn Learning

  • Personalized Course Recommendations: LinkedIn Learning suggests the most relevant courses or videos based on skills known to be important to a given job function or role.
  • Intelligent Search: LinkedIn Learning has made it easier to search and browse courses by pre-populating entries with the most searched words.
  • The Same Great Content: At the core of LinkedIn Learning is high-quality Lynda.com content. The library includes more than 11,000 courses, and it grows every week.
With its new and intuitive interface, LinkedIn Learning is designed to make it easier for you to find relevant content and achieve more. To learn more about what is changing and what isn't, please click here.
