TRAVEL PORTAL FAQ

Question: I found a cheaper flight elsewhere. Does World Travel Inc. have those flights or price match?

Answer: When searching for flights, there are a few reasons why the flight online is cheaper than the flight in the portal:

  1. The flight is found on a ticket aggregator site, such as Priceline, Kayak, or Booking.com. Ticket aggregators will comb through airfare sites, online travel agencies, and booking engines. The results of these fares are prone to dangling lead prices for a few dollars below what they offer once you click through the site, and some misleadingly offer "direct flights," which do stop but do not require you to change plans. These sites may also leave out baggage fees and offer non-refundable and non-changeable tickets.
  2. The flight found on the airline website is not displaying in the search results in the Travel Portal. The default departure and return time windows are set to plus or minus 2-hours. By expanding the search parameters will yield more flight options on the date of arrival and departure.

If the identical flight found on the airline website is cheaper than the flight offered on the University of Miami Travel Portal, please contact World Travel Inc. for their Low Airfare Guarantee. Prior to booking, if a cheaper airfare is available for your identical itinerary, World Travel Inc. will match the lower airfare or provide a refund of double the difference. Simply send an email to lowfareguarantee@worldtravelinc.com and include a single screenshot that shows the total airfare, where you found it, and a date/time stamp. Please note that requests to match airfare pricing need to be submitted the same business day World Travel confirms the flight reservation.
