  • 15% off PREMIUM first-class one-way rides
  • 15% off SMART monthly passes

To get started, follow the steps below to create a new Brightline account using your University of Miami email address and purchase your first ride.

How to Book

Step 1:

  • To sign up for a Brightline account, visit GoBrightline.com/sign-up or download Brightline's mobile app for iOS or Android.
  • Create a new account using your @miami.edu, @umiami.edu, or @miami.med.edu email.

Step 2:

  • Log in to your new Brightline account with your UM email.
  • Purchase one-way trips or a monthly pass and the discount will automatically be applied at checkout.
  • The discount will be applied to the total purchase price, including any additional passengers listed on the booking.

Step 3:

  • Enjoy your ride!

*This discount rate is exclusive to University of Miami students, faculty, and staff when using a UM email. A 25% off discount applies to SMART business class one-way rides, a 15% off discount applies to PREMIUM first-class one-way rides, and a 15% off discount applies to SMART monthly passes. Discounts and rates are subject to change.
