Your Guide to American Airlines Purchases through the University of Miami Travel Portal

Did you know that American Airlines (AA) is a University of Miami preferred vendor? When you book your business travel through the University of Miami Travel Portal, you'll receive exclusive discounts and benefits on American Airlines, including priority check-in, complimentary preferred seats, and more!

Unused Ticket Benefits:

As a University traveler, you will benefit from the recent elimination of change fees. Any cancellation that results in an unused ticket will be saved to your Travel Profile for future use. Booked a ticket for someone that will not be able to use their credit later? As part of the University of Miami and American Airlines partnership, most tickets have the flexibility to be changed to a new traveler's name*.

AA Leisure:

Don't forget to look at American Airlines when planning your next vacation, as University employees receive additional leisure discounts on the AA University of Miami Traveler Hub. Make sure to sign up for the award-winning AAdvantage loyalty program, if you haven't done so already, and add it to your University of Miami Travel Portal profile to earn points on both business and leisure travel.

Visit Travel Management's Airline Discounts page for more information on American Airlines and other travel partners.

*Fees apply and basic economy tickets are not eligible.
