Parking and Transportation Updates

Dear Coral Gables Campus Community,

As we commence the fall semester of 2021, please be advised of the following updates:

Reinstatement of Parking Color Restrictions

• Beginning Monday, Aug. 23, parking color restrictions will be enforced Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• A valid parking permit is required to park on campus throughout the entire year, 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and vehicles must be parked head-in only unless a front plate is displayed.
• As a reminder, the Nights and Weekend permit is only valid after 4 p.m. on weekdays and at any time during the weekend.

Shuttle Bus Services

• Shuttle bus services will resume the full service schedule on Aug. 23, 2021. All passengers are asked to follow the following protocols:
  • Board the bus through the front door and exit through the rear door.
  • Adhere to the maximum capacity of each bus and refrain from utilizing the restricted seats.

Customer Service

• To encourage social distancing, the Parking and Transportation team requests that customers complete all transactions by email or telephone whenever possible. The office will only be open for transactions that require in-person activity, such as the replacement of 'Cane Cards. All parking permit transactions must be completed through the website, email, or phone.
