Reminder: Coral Gables Campus Parking Permit Sales - Faculty and Staff 2024-25
Current Permit Holders
For the upcoming academic year, faculty and staff parking permits will remain as continuous permits. No action is required for current permit holders who wish to continue with their current parking assignment. Current parking permit holders will receive an email confirming their designated color zone and the annual permit price. Permits and pricing for fiscal year (FY) 25 will be effective beginning August 15, 2024.
Please note that the above auto renewal only applies to those who pay for their permit through payroll. If paid for by credit card or PG number, a new permit will have to be purchased through the parking account portal.
Exchanging Your Permit
Faculty and staff members can request a change of zone at any time throughout the year. The best time to request a change is before Monday, July 8. Most zones become unavailable once permit sales open for students. Requests will be granted based on availability. To make a change, cancel your permit, or discontinue payroll deductions, contact the Parking & Transportation department at parking.gables@miami.edu.
Non-Permit Holders
Permit sales for faculty and staff without a parking permit will start on Wednesday, July 10 at 8 a.m. Please be sure to apply for your parking permit during that time frame with your preferred colored zone. Visit the "How to apply for a permit" section below for guidance.
Pay-by-Phone and Pay Station Options
Available in the yellow and gray lots between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays and available in all color zones after 4 p.m. There are no time restrictions on weekends. Rates are $2.50/hr or $12/day.
Important Notices
Employees with unresolved parking citations totaling $51 or more will not be able to purchase a permit or renew it until the balance is reduced to $50 or less. If you have any unresolved parking citations, please contact Parking and Transportation prior to Monday, July 8.
To support campus beautification and upkeep, $1 of the total amount will be considered a contribution. This does not increase the total amount of the parking fee. Click here if you would like the total amount to be considered a parking fee only.
