Summer Updates: Parking & Mobility
Please be advised of the following parking and mobility updates during summer break.
Parking on Coral Gables Campus
Residential Move Out: May 10-14
Housing closes on Saturday, May 13 at 12 p.m. Please expect increased traffic in the days leading up to closing.
Residential students should review the HRL Move Out webpage to make sure they are aware of their responsibilities related to moving out of on-campus housing.
Commencement: May 11-May 12
Parking color restrictions will be lifted (except the purple lot) to support commencement ceremonies and receptions.
Summer Term: May 15-August 14
In order to assist with ongoing summer programs, color zone restrictions will not be lifted during the 2023 summer break, May 15-August 14, 2023. A valid University permit (including visitors) is required to park on campus at all times.

Garage Operations
Levante garage will close beginning Monday, May 15 and will reopen on Monday, August 14 at 7 a.m. However, access to the Levante garage will still be available throughout the summer via the Pavia garage.
Mahoney-Pearson garage will open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m., and will close on weekends from May 15-August 14.
Hurry 'Canes Shuttle – Coral Gables and Rosenstiel Campuses
Entering the conclusion of the spring semester, during finals week, the Hurry 'Canes shuttles and Safe Ride will operate the following schedule:

Summer Vehicle Storage
Summer parking storage is available to resident students only. Please submit your request here.
- Summer break storage is available beginning on May 15 through August 14 in the Mahoney-Pearson garage.
- Approval must be granted to store a vehicle in this garage over the break.
- A valid UM parking permit is required.
- The Mahoney-Pearson garage will only have in/out access between 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Vehicles must be parked with the license plate displayed towards the driving lane.
