2019 Fall Student Move-In

Student move-in operations will take place from Aug. 12 to 18. There will be elevated pedestrian and vehicular activity, including lot closures and roadway interruptions, as follows: 

Eaton, Hecht, and Stanford Residential Colleges:

Lot and gate closures Aug. 8 to 14 (red outline on map):

• Lot 435 full closure: Aug. 8, 6 a.m. through Aug. 14, 10 p.m.
• Lot 425N partial closure, Lot 425S full closure, and Dauer Gates closed: Aug. 9, 6 a.m. through Aug. 13, 9 p.m.
• Lot 446A full closure: Aug. 9, 6 a.m. through Aug. 13, 11 p.m.  
• College Dr. full closure: Aug. 11, 6 a.m. through Aug. 13, 11 p.m.

Roadway activity Aug. 12 to 13:

Move-in operations for new students will occur during this time.  Traffic will enter campus at the intersection of Merrick St. and Ponce de Leon Blvd. Expect elevated traffic and activity at Pavia and Merrick Garages, and the yellow color zone.

Mahoney-Pearson Residential College and University Village:

Roadway activity Aug. 12 to 18:

Move-in operations for returning students will occur during this time.  Expect elevated traffic and activity in and around these areas throughout the day.

As a reminder, the parking color zone restrictions are lifted through Sunday, Aug. 18, except in the purple color zone.
