Dear Colleagues,
Earlier this semester, we communicated an exciting new Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Certificate Program that builds on the foundational training and inclusion programming already in place at the U. We are excited to announce registration is now open for this program.
While the content is designed primarily for workplace scenarios most familiar to staff, faculty members are also welcome to participate in any of the offerings and be awarded a certificate. The portfolio of curated learning opportunities brings into focus many of the options available at UM that support diversity and inclusion, while recognizing those individuals who take the time to meaningfully engage in this important topic.
Register for a Curriculum
There is a unique curriculum for staff and a separate one for leaders (individuals with direct reports). The only difference between the two programs is that leaders will complete one additional session to empower and equip them to develop inclusive environments where everyone feels valued and respected.
