DEADLINE APPROACHING: FLU VACCINE DOCUMENTATION

Dear Colleagues,

As part of the University of Miami’s COVID-19 response, faculty and staff on all campuses are required to receive the seasonal flu vaccine. If you haven’t done so already, please upload your flu vaccination compliance or complete a request for a medical or religious exemption in Workday by November 17.

Free flu shots are currently available for faculty, and staff by appointment at multiple locations on and off campus.

UPLOAD YOUR FLU DOCUMENTATION

Please ensure you have completed one of these two steps unless you have already received an approved exemption:

• If you were vaccinated through UHealth, or if you previously uploaded your vaccine documentation to MyUHealthChart, you still must take affirmative action to provide vaccine documentation to Workday. In your MyUHealthChart account, authorize the release of your vaccine information to Workday by logging in and submitting the authorization form. No medical information will be provided to Workday in this transfer.

OR 

• If you prefer to provide documentation directly to Workday, make sure you have all appropriate attachments, and use this link to take you directly to Workday to upload your vaccination or exemption documents (it will ask for your name).

INFORMATION FOR MANAGERS

A management dashboard for flu immunizations is available in Workday, within the worklet "Vaccination Compliance." This dashboard allows managers to access a database of faculty and/or staff within your area who have received their flu shot, and supports your role in monitoring flu immunization compliance.

We ask that you check this dashboard to ensure that faculty and staff within your departments/units are complying with the mandatory flu immunization requirement.
