COVID-19 Telecommute Arrangement
Dear Gables and Marine campus leadership colleagues (non-UHealth/MSOM),
Thank you all for your flexibility and creativity in working through remote work solutions during such challenging times. The health and well-being of our University community remains our top priority and our approaches and policies remain fluid as we quickly try to address new concerns.
To identify all employees who have transitioned to remote work, please instruct your direct report(s) to log in to Workday and complete the COVID-19 Telecommute Arrangement by Friday, March 27, 2020. A subsequent communication will be sent to all employees regarding this step.
Employees should indicate their start period of telecommuting. As managers, please review submissions and approve the telecommute arrangement business process in Workday. For assistance, please review the COVID-19 Telecommute Arrangement in Workday Tip Sheet.
This mechanism will provide us with the ability to make appropriate cost allocations including any reimbursement for the use of personal cell phones or other work-related costs. This is an important measure to assist us in making decisions to support our teams across the University. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your HR Partner.
The University’s dedicated COVID-19 site, which can be found at coronavirus.miami.edu, is updated constantly and will continue to serve as the best and most up-to-date source for information regarding the University’s proactive and comprehensive response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We recognize there may still be some challenges ahead, but we thank you for your leadership and for keeping your teams informed.
Thank you.
