September 25, 2020
Dear Colleagues, The University has increased the level of COVID-19 testing for residential and non-residential students and has initiated voluntary random testing for faculty and staff who are working on the Gables and Marine campuses, as well as for employees of approved vendors. Random testing is essential for providing an accurate assessment of the prevalence of infection on campus. It is in this spirit that we encourage you to participate in testing if you are contacted. If you are working or teaching on campus, you may receive an email alert from UHealth requesting that you participate in random testing. Be assured that testing is quick, easy, and confidential. Once contacted, you will be asked to click into a link to schedule a time at your convenience.
Please ensure your contact information is updated in Workday so that you can be reached to participate in random testing. For assistance with any COVID-19 related guidance, please call 305-243-ONE-U to speak with a UHealth provider.
We all play a key role in keeping our campuses safe. This one action can make a significant difference in the success of our efforts.
Thank you.
