World Food Day 2025 is calling for global collaboration in creating
a peaceful, sustainable, prosperous, and food-secure future.

    Join us and learn about healthy eating, urban farming, community gardens, food donations, and get involved with Miami Dade Real Food network! 
    Free food and giveaways.

    1 pm - Tropical Fruit Crush at the U Statue 
    Participate in a group picture/social media effort to raise awareness on healthy eating and access to fresh fruit and vegetables.

Sustainability Scholar

The Sustainability Scholar Program’s goal is for students to further incorporate sustainability into their curriculum and cultivate leadership skills in promoting sustainability on campus and beyond. Students are encouraged to think critically about what economic, environmental, and social factors advance or inhibit long-term sustainability goals. The next deadline to submit applications is October 17, 2025.

You can recycle glass at UV!

This Fall, student residents at University Village will be able to recycle glass containers: Collect your glass bottles and jars, and dispose of them safely in the secured Glass 4 Life cart located in the University Village Mailing room. This program is brought to you by Student Government ECO Agency.
