For the third consecutive year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has selected the University of Miami as a member of its "Green Power Partnership" in recognition of the University's continued commitment to utilizing clean energy. Watch the Solar at the U video.

BOOK YOUR GARDEN LOT NOW!
This fall, staff members who don't have access to a garden at home will have a chance to book a small lot of the Miller Garden raised beds (located on the Miller School of Medicinet (MSOM) campus, in front of the Calder Library). This arrangement allows participants who live in condos or townhouses to express their green thumb passion, and even try some edibles from their home country! Contact Monika Chojnacka to book your lot (first come, first served).

The U Conserve paper reduction competition ended April 30, 2024. We've crunched the numbers, and the office building that reduced their paper consumption the most from their monthly average (about 19,000 pages less!) is Hecht Athletic Building! Congratulations to everyone in Hecht who prioritized sustainable paper usage. GreenU will be providing the team with sustainable goodie bags for their efforts.
